Juana Muñoz Liceras

Juana M. Liceras is Distinguished University Professor of the University of Ottawa and a professor in the Department of Modern Languages and the Department of Linguistics, as well as the director of the Language Acquisition Research Laboratory [http://artsites.uottawa.ca/larlab/). She is a Senior Researcher in the Applied Languages Program of the Universidad Nebrija, one of the two editors of the Spanish Journal of Applied Linguistics (RESLA/SJAL) as well as a member of the editorial board of several periodicals, among them Second Language Research, Languages, Journal of Spanish Language Teaching, and Lengua y Migración. Her research interests and publications deal with the relationship between linguistic theory and language acquisition, bilingualism, comparative grammar, language contact and language impairment.
