Isabel Moskowich is a Full Professor in English and Corpus Linguistics in the University of A Coruña (UDC) and has been devoted to teaching and researching since 1989 in the Universities of Santiago and A Coruña (Spain). She has edited and co-edited several collections of papers. She is also the author of research articles in specialised journals such as Folia Linuisstica Historica, SELIM, Neuphilologische Mitteilungen, Studia Anglica Posnaniensia, Studia Neophilologica, Literary and Linguistic Computing, English Studies and Australian Journal of English Studies. Although her main interests have been focused on the socio-historical aspects of Middle English lexicon (mainly those related to the Scandinavian influence) and word-formation processes, she is presently compiling, together with her team (Muste Group), the Coruña Corpus of English Scientific Writing which comprises texts of different scientific disciplines from 1700 to 1900, two of whose parts, Corpus of English Astronomy Texts and Corpus of English Philosophy Texts were published by Benjamins in 2012 and 2016.

At UDC she has also supervised the PhD dissertations of Begoña Crespo (2001), Elena Alfaya (2002), Ana Montoya (2003), Inés Lareo (2006), Gonzalo Camiña-Rioboo (2013), Leticia Regueiro-Naya (2014) and Leida Maria Monaco (2017).
