Información

I am a Tenured Researcher in Linguistics at the Institute for Culture and Society (ICS) of the University of Navarra, an interdisciplinary research center for the Humanities and Social Sciences. I am affiliated with the Emotional Culture and Identity (CEMID) project and I am head of the Multimodal Pragmatics Lab (MuPra Lab). I am also a member of the Red Hen Lab, a distributed laboratory for research on multimodal communication.

My research currently focuses on phraseology, gesture, figurative language and conversational interaction from the perspective of Pragmatics, Cognitive Linguistics and Multimodality. Currently I lead MultiNeg, an international project on language, pragmatics and cognition funded by the Spanish Ministry of Science.
