Mª Enriqueta Cortes De Los Rios

M.ª Enriqueta Cortés de los Ríos is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Almería (Spain), where she teaches Business English, Advertising Language, and Intercultural Communication at both graduate and postgraduate levels. Her main research interests include Business English as a branch of English for Specific Purposes, Advertising Language, Cognitive Semantics, Axiology, and Cross-cultural Communication. She has published numerous articles and book chapters in prestigious journals and has served as a peer reviewer for journals in Spain and abroad, including Ibérica (AELFE - European Association of Languages for Specific Purposes), Complutense Journal of English Studies, Revista Electrónica de Lingüística Aplicada (RAEL), and Publicitas. She is also a member of the research group Languages Applied to Professional and Academic Contexts, funded by the Regional Government of Andalusia and based at the University of Granada (HUM 641). Additionally, she serves as an editor for Odisea, Revista de Estudios Ingleses, published by the Department of Philology at the University of Almería.
